Amy Lemaire & Nicolas Touron are an artist duo based in Brooklyn, NY, whose collaborative practice explores materiality, form, and the intersection of natural and constructed environments. Working across diverse media, their work bridges the disciplines of sculpture, glass, and installation, creating immersive visual narratives that challenge perception and engage the senses.

As a duo, Lemaire and Touron have exhibited at prominent venues, including The Builders at SARAHCROWN New York (2024), UNTITLED Art Fair Miami (2023), and Nature 2 at Gallery 224, Harvard University (2023). Their work has also been showcased at Rockaway Art Week (2023) and in the solo exhibition Second Nature at SARAHCROWN NY (2022-2023). In 2023, their work was acquired for the permanent collection of the Ringling Museum in Florida.

Beyond their collaboration, both artists maintain distinguished individual practices.

Amy Lemaire has exhibited at esteemed institutions such as The Delaware Contemporary (Through A Glass, Darkly, 2022), Heller Gallery (River of Shadows, 2020), and Traver Gallery (Bigs and Smalls, 2020). Her work has been recognized with numerous residencies and awards, including the Acquisition Prize from the Museum of Arts and Design (2021) and residencies at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, UrbanGlass, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Nicolas Touron has exhibited internationally, with solo and group shows at Sculpture Space NYC (Objects & Surfaces, 2019), Detais Gallery in Paris (Parallel Universe, 2015), and Stux Gallery in New York (Play Ground, 2013). His work has been presented at major art fairs, including Arte Fiera in Bologna, and is held in various international collections. Touron has received prestigious fellowships, including a Fulbright Fellowship Commission (2001) and grants from the School of Visual Arts. He has also been awarded residencies at Socrates Sculpture Park and Lower East Side Printshop.

Through their individual and collective practices, Lemaire and Touron continue to push the boundaries of contemporary art, creating dynamic works that reflect their deep engagement with material, space, and conceptual exploration.
