ROULETTE
Curated by SARAHCROWN
Inspired by the private, rotating nature of the casino game, Roulette is an art project that introduces artistic talent each month in the Global Jet Capital headquarters in Zurich, starting May 6, 2021.
Roulette showcases one artist every month in the exclusive, invitation-only office spaces of Global Jet Capital, located in Zurich. The project is a collaboration between Sarah Corona, the founder of the New York based art advisory firm SARAHCROWN, and Alexandra Asche, the Sales Director Europe for Global Jet Capital.
The first artist to exhibit is Italian artist Elisa Bertaglia. The rotating exhibition will change every first Thursday of each month. Bertaglia will be followed by artists Rachel Gregor, Xavier Petromelis, David Syre, and Dov Talpaz.
The partnership of Corona and Asche creates a dialogue between the Swiss network of Global Jet Capital and the artistic talent represented by SARAHCROWN, offering a unique occasion to broaden both sides’ horizons and understanding of culture by introducing otherwise inaccessible opportunities to discover new and exciting art.
The project is based on presenting international artists to the Swiss community on a rolling basis. The artworks are affordable and on paper by both emerging and established international artists, carefully selected by the curator, Corona. Roulette creates an intimate experience with art for its viewers by exhibiting the artworks in a private, official setting.
The project, furthermore, ultimately utilizes the benefits of art in office spaces: Art in the workplace is known to encourage and promote social interactions, stimulate emotional responses, and foster personal relationships. Scholars show that the design of an office space, including artworks, influences job productivity, job performance, and job satisfaction.
All artworks are for sale.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Elisa Bertaglia is an Italian painter and visual artist currently living and working in Rovigo, Milan, and New York. She received her MFA in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. The same year, Bertaglia was selected for the Bevilacqua La Masa Prize in Venice. In 2011, she was selected to take part in the 54th Venice Biennale with an installation that embodied the key themes of her own poetics, such as nature, symbolism, memory, and duplicity. These concepts were developed through a dreamlike and evocative language. Bertaglia’s work has been selected for many awards and has been exhibited in important galleries, museums and institutions both in Italy and abroad. https://elisabertaglia.com/
